How do you make a C130 Hercules Cargo plane land and take off within the length of a football field? With rockets of course! In an entry into Real World Kerbal Aviation Program we outfit a Husky cargo plane from the Ferram Aerospace Research pack with 4 groups of SRB's that let it land on very short sections of runway. Or, more often, crash it into the ground after stalling.
Ultimately the original plan was cancelled after a crash during testing, but research continued for some time after this.
